I understand that becoming vulnerable for the first time in the therapy process can be challenging. However, I am committed to being sensitive to this situation. For me, it is very important to listen attentively and to value your trust in the therapeutic process. I offer therapy services based on integrative models tailored to the individual needs of each client. My therapeutic approaches include:
Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic therapy focuses on exploring deep, unconscious patterns that influence current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This approach helps clients understand how their past experiences and early relationships impact their present lives, promoting greater self-awareness and connection with their inner world. Through this understanding, personal growth and the resolution of emotional conflicts are facilitated.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy focuses on identifying and modifying negative thought patterns and dysfunctional behaviors. It uses a correlational model to integrate thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors, helping clients develop practical skills to address and overcome various psychological issues, promoting positive and lasting changes.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) promotes the acceptance of difficult thoughts and emotions while encouraging committed action toward personal values. ACT combines acceptance and mindfulness techniques with behavior change strategies, helping clients lead fuller and more meaningful lives.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness involves techniques that teach clients to stay present in the moment and reduce stress. These practices help improve focus, emotional regulation, and overall well-being, promoting greater awareness and acceptance of daily experiences.
Logotherapy
Logotherapy focuses on finding meaning and purpose in life, even in adverse situations. Developed by Viktor Frankl, this therapeutic approach helps individuals discover deep meaning in their experiences, which can serve as a powerful source of motivation and resilience.
Positive Psychology
Positive Psychology focuses on the growth and flourishing of the individual. In the therapeutic process, we not only address problem-solving or healing from illness but also the development of personal strengths, the promotion of well-being, and the pursuit of a fulfilling and meaningful life.
Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual Approach
I adopt a bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach that considers the individual as a whole. This model addresses the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of health, ensuring comprehensive and holistic care.
Integration of Spiritual Beliefs and Practices
Given my studies and professional experience, and always for therapeutic purposes and with the client’s consent, I integrate clients’ religious and spiritual beliefs, history, and practices into psychological therapy. This approach ensures that treatment is culturally sensitive and spiritually relevant, respecting and valuing each individual’s uniqueness.
My Commitment
As a therapist, I strive to be sensitive to the issues my clients face, whether it’s depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, or conflict resolution. I am also here to help those who wish to flourish in life, find meaning and purpose in their life, work, relationships, or any other personal challenge they wish to address in the therapeutic process. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where each client can explore and overcome their difficulties while developing their strengths and inner resources.
We comply with HIPAA security standards and offer additional features to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of our clients’ data.
The purpose of a psychological assessment is to thoroughly understand a person’s cognitive abilities, emotional state, and personality. This process does not define an individual’s identity but provides an accurate diagnosis to receive the appropriate services and support. I offer an integrative approach that includes cognitive, emotional, and projective assessments, addressing the individual from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual perspective to ensure comprehensive and personalized care.
Assessment Process
Clinical and Developmental Interview: An initial interview to understand the client’s clinical and developmental history.
Cognitive Testing: Assessments such as the WAIS-IV to measure cognitive abilities.
Emotional and Personality Assessments: Objective tests like the MMPI-3 and MCMI-IV to evaluate emotional state and personality.
Projective Tests: Use of tools like the TAT to explore deeper aspects of personality.
Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual Approach
I adopt a bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach that considers the individual as a whole. This model addresses the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of health, ensuring comprehensive and holistic care.
Feedback Session
After the assessment, a feedback session is conducted to discuss the findings, address referral questions, explain test scores, and provide recommendations based on an integration of all the instruments used.
